Layers In Time

Colour, Line & Texture: A Triptych

For my birthday this year I've created a triypch series using varying materials. Each artwork representing a different time in my artistic discovery.

ERA 1: Starting from the beginning as a kid. Bright playful colours, that may or may not look good together. Using primarily crayons, pencil crayons and acrylic paint.

ERA 2: Next in university learning more technical elements to creating art by using ink, charcoal and conté.

ERA 3: Finally to present day integrating more mixed media materials into my work creating more texture. I've done so by using impasto, texture gel and oil based mixed media materials.

I'm excited to see what future materials I will discover!
